  • Studied music, mathematics/informatics, instrumental pedagogy (clarinet and piano) at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and at the University of Innsbruck / Institute for Music Pedagogy Innsbruck.
  • Conducting studies, choral conducting training (among others Howard Arman), numerous master classes (Salvador Mas Conde, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Peter Gülke and others).
  • many years of teaching experience in grammar school, secondary school (Realschule) and music school
  • research associate at the Innsbruck Music Pedagogy Institute of the Mozarteum University
  • since autumn 2004 professor for music pedagogy at the University of Music Würzburg
