Mizuho Quaiser-Itakura

Mizuho Quaiser-Itakura was born in 1990 in Sumoto Japan, began playing the piano at the age of one.
She learned to play the piano independently until the age of 18, then traveled to Europe to attend her first master class, which was followed by many more.
At the age of 20, she organized her first recital in Japan, which was very successful.
From 2012-2015, Mizuho Quaiser-Itakura studied piano at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Prof. Maria Szraiber, after which she continued her Bachelor's studies at the Akademie für Tonkunst Darmstadt with Prof. Lucas Blondeel and Prof. Carmen Piazzini.
In July 2021, she completed her master's degree at the University of Music Würzburg with Prof. Silke-Thora Matthies.
Since October 2021, she has been studying piano in the Meisterklasse with Prof. Silke-Thora Matthies as well as chamber music in the Master's program with Prof. Denise Benda.
Mizuho Quaiser-Itakura won prizes at several piano competitions at home and abroad.
In recent years, she has performed as a soloist, as well as with orchestras and chamber music partners in Europe, Japan, and the United States.
Since the winter semester of 2021/22, she has been a lecturer of piano at the University of Music Würzburg. Since November 2022 she is additionally lecturer for piano at the Akademie für Tonkunst Darmstadt.
