Dr. Anne Jurkutat

Anne Jurkutat has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Pedagogy and Intervention in Language and Communication Impairment at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg since 2003.
After training as a speech therapist and completing a master's degree in Human Communication Sciences in Newcastle upon Tyne, she worked in various speech therapy practices and early intervention centers, completed a master's degree in speech and language therapy at the University of Würzburg and received her doctorate in 2011 (in the field of cleft lip and palate).
Her teaching and research activities focus on functional voice disorders and voice prevention in professional speakers as well as pronunciation disorders in childhood.
As part of the research project "Starke Stimme macht Schule", she has been advising and supporting students studying to become teachers of special education in voice diagnostics, prevention and therapy since 2011.
