Peter Frank
born in Hanover in 1963, studied at the University of Music and Drama Hanover, graduating with degrees in school music, voice teaching and opera.
In 1989 he was a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association.
From 1988 he sang numerous opera, operetta and musical roles as a lyric baritone at the Oldenburg State Theater, the Volkstheater in Bautzen, the Lower Saxony State Theater in Hanover, and the Brandenburg Theater, where he was also a permanent ensemble member from 1993 to 1998. His repertoire included Count Almaviva (The Marriage of Figaro), Figaro (The Barber of Seville), Papageno (The Magic Flute) and many others. As a concert singer he toured Europe and the USA and participated in radio and CD productions under P.Herreweghe, G.Leonhard, S.Preston, H.Hennig (EMI-Classics, THOROFON), among others.
In 2003 he played "Faust" in the successful Weimar musical MEPHISTO.
He is composer, main actor and co-producer of the musical "Der Graf von Gleichen", which premiered in Thuringia in summer 2006.
His work as a singing teacher took him to the music academies in Hanover (1995-2004) and Würzburg (since 2004).
