Jürgen Fenner
Born 1963 in Cologne. Studied with Prof. Helman Jung in Detmold. Artistic maturity examination and state-certified music teacher. During his studies he was a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and participated in the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie and Ensemble Modern.
After one year in the Philharmonic Orchestra Bielefeld since 1989 2nd bassoonist with obligation to the contrabassoon in the State Orchestra Stuttgart. Numerous performances, radio, television and recordings with various ensembles and orchestras in Germany and abroad. Among others with the Bavarian State Orchestra Munich, the Orchestra of the National Theater Mannheim, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and the RSO Stuttgart. Under conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Roger Norrington, Antal Dorati, Kurt Sanderling, Dmitri G. Kitajenko, Carlo Maria Giulini, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Ferdinand Leitner, Kent Nagano and Seiji Ozawa. 1995 - 1997 Member of the Saito Kinen Orchestra, Japan.
Since 1998 lecturer for contrabassoon, bassoon and bassoon methodology at the University of Music Würzburg, since 1999 also for contrabassoon and bassoon at the University of Music Stuttgart.
