Prof. Clemer Andreotti

Born in São Paulo/Brazil, Clemer Andreotti began his studies first with Henrique Pinto, then as a scholarship student at the International Guitar Seminar in Porto Alegre with the most important musical personalities of Latin America such as Abel Carlevaro, Guido Santórsola, Alvaro Pierri, Miguel Angel Girollet and Eduardo Fernandez.
As a scholarship holder of the KAAD (Bonn), he began his studies in Germany in 1984 with Prof. Dieter Kirsch in Würzburg, graduating with honors, and then studied in the soloist class of Oscar Ghiglia at the Music Academy of Basel. In addition, Clemer Andreotti participated in various master classes with Alvaro Pierri, Manuel Barrueco, Hubert Käppel, Leo Brouwer, Roberto Aussel, Robert Brigtmore and Hopkinson Smith and was a prize winner of various international guitar competitions - Abel Carlevaro Competition (Brazil), International Guitar Competition of Porto Alegre (Brazil), International Guitar Competition Hof (Germany), Villa-Lobos Competition (Italy) and others.
Clemer Andreotti has performed regularly as a soloist and member of the international ensemble "Brazilian Guitar Quartet" in the USA, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland and Australia such as:

As a soloist and chamber musician, Clemer Andreotti has performed world premieres by Berthold Hummel, Klaus Ospald, Klaus-Hinrich Stahmer, Sergio Assad, Edurado Fernandez, José Eduardo Gramani, Paulo Porto Alegre and Giacomo Bartoloni.
His discography includes numerous CD, radio and television productions including Bayerischer Rundfunk, MDR, ZDF, Austin TV Texas, TV-1 South Dakota, Radio Eldorado São Paulo, Radio and TV Cultura São Paulo.
Since 1988 Clemer Andreotti teaches guitar, chamber music, methodology and teaching practice at the HfM Würzburg and is a regular lecturer at various music institutes in Europe, the USA and Brazil.
