Two talented students from Prof. Herwig Zack's class were able to impress at auditions with the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker / Deutsche Oper am Rhein and have been awarded temporary contracts.

Nastasja Link, who has been studying with Prof. Herwig Zack since the 2020 winter semester, initially in the bachelor's program and since 2023 in her masters, and Theresa Schönberger, who has been studying in her masters with Prof. Zack's since autumn 2023, are now among the new members of the renowned ensembles.

The Düsseldorfer Symphoniker is one of the most traditional orchestras in Germany and is a permanent ensemble of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein as well as an integral part of concert life in the state capital of Düsseldorf. The Deutsche Oper am Rhein, on the other hand, enjoys an excellent reputation as one of the leading opera houses in the German-speaking world and stands for musical and scenic quality at the highest level. Engagements at these institutions are an important career step for young musicians.
