The Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – or short UNIRIO – in Rio de Janeiro is the newest partner institution of the University of Music Wuerzburg: the cooperation agreement with the UNIRIO was signed in July 2018. As part of the partnership, students of the University of Music Wuerzburg have the opportunity to study in Brazil for one or two semesters.

Semester dates:

Winter semester (1st Semester): March to July
Summer semester (2nd Semester): August to December

Languages of instruction: English, Portuguese

Application

The following application documents must be submitted to the International Office:

• Completed application form (download right)
• Proof of enrolment at the home institution (in English or Portuguese)
• Current transcript of Records (in English or Portuguese)
• Copy of passport
• Letter of motivation (in English or Portuguese)

The application deadline for the 1st semester of the academic year (March to July) is 15 November. The application deadline for the 2nd semester of the academic year (August to December) is 30 April.
