commented the Hessischer Rundfunk on the young pianist's 2009 performance at the DAAD competition in Frankfurt, where the jury unanimously awarded him first prize.

Andrea Capecci performs regularly as a soloist at important festivals and concert series in Europe. Concerts have taken him to the Alte Oper in Frankfurt and the broadcasting hall of the Hessischer Rundfunk, to the Eberbach Monastery at the Rheingau Music Festival. The pianist has received invitations to Italy, Poland, Spain (Auditori Barcelona), France and England (Royal College of Music London).

He plays regularly with orchestras such as the Hessian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Frankfurt Museum Orchestra and the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra and works with conductors such as Paavo Järvi, Lucas Vis, Hans Drewanz, Sebastian Weigle, Alexander Liebreich, Wojciech Rajski and Howard Griffiths.

Andrea Capecci began his studies at the Accademia Pianistica Internazionale "Incontri col Maestro" Imola with G. Valentini and finished them with a Master's degree with E. Belli, Conservatory "Pergolesi" in Fermo, and his KA diploma at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt am Main with Prof. A. Meyer-Hermann. In 2012 he was accepted into the Meisterklasse of Prof. Bernd Glemser at the University of Music in Würzburg.

With the beginning of the winter semester 2013/2014 Andrea Capecci took over a teaching position for piano at the University of Music Würzburg.
