On Whit Saturday, 7 June 2025, flute teachers from Lower, Upper and Middle Franconia, Upper Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg once again spent an inspiring symposium together at the University of Music Würzburg. In addition to exchanging ideas on music pedagogical and didactic issues from professional practice, making music together using different literature for flute ensembles once again played an important role. In addition, the participants tried out and reflected on body awareness and breathing exercises together and shared newly discovered and rediscovered teaching literature.

The flute pedagogy network meeting takes place annually and is linked to the "Flute didactics/teaching practice" course (lecturer: Corina Nastoll). The aim of the event is, on the one hand, to promote the exchange between university lecturers and flute teachers. In addition, students and alumni also have the opportunity to get to know different career perspectives, network across generations and receive support when starting their careers.
