Together with Tonali, the University of Music Würzburg - and in particular the Professorinnenprogramm III - has developed a project that will inspire young people to make and listen to music. With the support of Tonali, teams of two or three students from different degree programmes and disciplines initially develop an individual concept for the multiple implementation of a practical music program at general education schools. The introduction to music and music-making is also intended to counteract the role clichés that still exist here and there, which assign one instrument more to "female" musicians and another perhaps more to "male" musicians.
Finally, from the end of November 2023, school visits are on the agenda for the teams as an opportunity to apply the developed concept. The visits promise to introduce the students to exciting music with a wide variety of instruments - and hopefully also to develop a desire to make music themselves.
