Anke Hájková Endres

Anke Hájková Endres studied vocal performance at the University of Music Würzburg with Prof. M. Bürgener and graduated with opera and concert exams from the opera school there. Meisterklassen with E. Kirkby and A. Rooley, H. Hotter and Prof. I. Hallstein completed her education. In 2000 she reached the finals of the Belvedere Competition Vienna in operetta. She was a scholarship holder of the Wagner Association Würzburg. Between 2000 and 2007 she was permanently engaged at the Mainfrankentheater Würzburg. She was heard there as Olympia, Gilda, Gretel, Queen of the Night and Donna Anna, among others. In 2002, she was awarded the sponsorship prize of the local Theaterförderverein. Since 2007, she has been working as a freelance singer.
Her repertoire includes over 30 opera roles as a lyric coloratura soprano and all major works of the oratorio literature. She works increasingly in the field of new music. In addition, she also performs in chamber music ensembles and regularly collaborates with the Zeiher Quartet. In 2012 she sang the part of "Monnica" in R. Hiller's "Augustinus" on the occasion of the birthday concert of the Würzburg Cathedral Music for Pope Benedict XI in the summer residence Castel Gandolfo/Rome.
She teaches vocal performance at the University of Music Würzburg. At the Dommusik Würzburg she is in charge of the male voices of the boys' choir.
