Ella-Marie Steinmetz convinces in Paris and Tokyo

The violinist from the class of Prof. Michael Szykulski won the 2nd prize in her age group with 93/100 points at the VI Paris International Music Competition (1.12.2021 - 1.1.2022). Earlier this year, she also achieved 2nd prize with 90/100 points in her age group at the VI Tokyo International Music Competition (Feb. 1 - Mar. 1, 2022).

Both competitions are characterized by an international jury and an equally international field of participants. They are organized by the Italian cultural association Melos APS and are currently held online.

Ella-Marie Steinmetz has been playing the violin since she was 5 years old. She was a member of many different youth orchestras and was also active as a soloist. Concert tours have taken her to the Netherlands, Austria, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia and France. She completed her Bachelor's degree with double honors at the Wiesbaden Music Academy. Since October 2020, Ella-Marie Steinmetz has been studying in the Master's program at the HfM Würzburg.
